Why we offer this

The Truth & Reconciliation program enagages staff, volunteers, and the community in knowledge-sharing and learning activities about Indigenous history, culture, and present-day realities. These activities bring Indigenous and newcomer children, youth, adults, and seniors together and create opportunities to raise awareness and build connections. Activities include storytelling by Indigenous Elders and learning about Indigenous tools, foods, art, music, and medicine.
