Share and Expand your Civic Knowledge & Action!
The Leadership & Civic Engagement Training we offer includes interactive workshops on government structure and civic processes in Canada, as well as on effective planning, outreach and facilitation techniques. There is also a practicum component to the program in which participants collaborate on their own initiatives to address important community issues. Ultimately, the 8-week training provides local residents with opportunities to connect with their community, to feel like their voice is being heard, and to take on a leadership role in building a better city, a better country, a better world.
