Information Session: Jobs at Canada Goose

Canada Goose is hiring Sewing Machine Operators (no experience required) at their North York and Scarborough sites. We're hosting 3 information sessions for community members to meet with the hiring committee from Canada Goose. At each info session, they will provide details about the hiring process, available positions, salaries and benefits, etc. - as well as answer any questions and pre-register candidates for interviews.

The Diverse Women's Club

These 12-session training programs provide women* from diverse backgrounds with free coaching to assist them in setting and achieving their self-employment/employment goals.

The Self-Employment stream will help you gain valuable entrepreneurial skills to launch your home-based business in the hospitality and related sectors. (2pm-5pm)

The Employment stream will provide employment readiness training for the hospitality and related sectors, including helping you obtain Food Handling Certification and Smart Serve Certification. (9:30am-12:30pm)

Taste of the Philippines (for Youth 13-20)

Taste of the Philippines is a FREE summer program for youth (aged 13-20) who are Filipino or interested in Filipino culture.

Different guest cooks come in to teach youth how to make different meals. The group will then get to enjoy the meal together with traditional Filipino games (and some new ones).
